This will be our 55th season of the Presidential Range Riders incorporated in 1971. Our mission is to groom, maintain, and create safe trails and promote winter tourism for the area. We maintain over 75 one-way miles of trails. Much like our road system in Gorham we have two major corridor trails into Gorham, Corridor 19 which runs north and south and Corridor 12 which runs east and west. When we have good snow conditions the area can get very busy with snowmobilers. We are a 100% volunteer club with no paid members, our volunteers put in hundreds of man hours each season, to maintain, groom and construct the trails we have. Private landowners play a large part of our trail network. Without our generous landowners we would not have trails at all. Please consider becoming a member of our club we appreciate your support.
Club history:
In the early days of the club developing many of the trails we still ride today was hard work. Back then the grooming was done by anybody that had a hitch on their sled and could tow a drag. A drag could have been anything from an old bed frame to a pallett of some sort.
Today we maintain and groom more than 75 miles of trails in the heart of the White Mountains in the towns of Gorham, Berlin, Randolph, Shelbourne and Gilead, Maine all done by volunteers.
We operate two Pisten Bully groomers, 2017 & 2022 PB100 Trail. Both machines pull 2022 Mogul Master drags.
